In 1978 he was assistant professor of Commercial Law at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Faculty of Economics and Business. He became associate professor in 1981, and he is called to the chair of European Business Law at the University of Rome La Sapienza (Faculty of Economics and Business), where he teaches from 1982 to 1995 and then, as an alternate, in the academic years from 1995-96 to 2001-02.

Won the competition for full professor in 1994, in the academic year 1994-95 was called to the chair of Commercial Law at the University of Cagliari, Faculty of Economics.

With the academic year 1995-96 is called to the chair of Commercial Law at the University of Tuscia, Faculty of Economics. In this role he teaches Business Law until the academic year 2001-2002; in the same period he was appointed Director of Legal. He also taught Comparative Law in the European School of Advanced Studies in European Studies at the University of Rome La Sapienza, and Commercial Law at the University of Rome La Sapienza (branch of Latina, Faculty of Business and Economics) and Ancona (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), as well as at the School of Tax Police of the Guardia di Finanza in Rome and at the Higher Institute of Police of Rome.
