Maria Azzurra Marzano was born in Naples (Italy) on June 23rd, 1986
She is a Research Fellow in “Growth Strategy in Green Chemistry” at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. Her current research interest is on the design of business models in green chemistry industry.
In June 2014 she received her Ph.D. in “General Management” from Alma Mater Studiorum, Univerity of Bologna, with a dissertation on “The impact of inward licensing on new venture’s survival”.
She has been visiting student at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla (Spain) and at Copenaghen Business School, Copenaghen (Denmark).
She is a teaching assistant in Management, Management of Innovation, International Business, Firm’s Strategies at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome.
In April 2010, she received from LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome her MSc in Strategy (Cum Laude), with a thesis on “M&A in Pharmaceutical Sector: Merck- Schering Plough” (Advisor: Prof. Paolo Boccardelli), and her BSc, in November 2007, in Marketing (Cum Laude) with a thesis on “Cus-tomer Relationship Management” (Advisor: Prof. Paolo Mazzoletti). In 2006 she was a Socra-tes/Erasmus student at Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong (China).
