I am Assistant Professor of Management of Innovation at the Department of Business and Management of LUISS Guido Carli University (LUISS) in Rome, Italy. Since 2013 I have been working as LUISS unit member for the National PRIN Project on Markets for Technologies, cofounded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. My research specializes on the technology licensing phenomenon as instrument for technological learning and catalyst for faster invention activity. More recently, I have focused my attention on licensing negotiation and contractual structure. I have published on these topics in e.g. Strategic Management Journal and Industrial and Corporate Change and international books. I was also awarded a number of Prizes for my research in the field of management of innovation.
