Tuesday  June 7, 2016 the second Corporate Advisory Board (aka CAB) of the Master in Institutional Relations, Lobby and Corporate Communication took place at LUISS Business School. The CAB is a prestigious meeting point among companies, LUISS Business School management and Master’s directors. It aims to create a bridge between the academic and business world, developing innovative thinking while building a common and collaborative framework towards the issues of lobbying and institutional relations. The Corporate Advisory  is particularly important for a Master from its beginnings tightly connected to the business world, and to training needs of big companies, multinational corporations, specialized agencies and organizations.

During the meeting the directors of the Master, Prof. Alberto Petrucci and Dr. Francesco Delzio, along with the members of the scientific committee and the School management, met leading experts and business partners. Some of the board participants:

  • Vittorio Cino, Public Affairs & Communications Director, The Coca-Cola Company
  • Francesco Delzio, Director of External Relations, Institutional Affairs and Marketing (Executive Vice President), Atlantia and Autostrade per l’Italia – Co-director of the Master

The CAB round table stimulated an intense and dynamic discussion focused on a common goal: support an innovative programme which aims to ensure student’s immediate employability giving them specialized strategic and analytical skills as well as tools to understand the evolution of the institutional, legal and economic framework.

The participants outlined scenarios of a profession which requires multidisciplinary and critical skills in order to manage complexity. The Master, at its seventh edition, represents not only a high-standing academic and professional training but also a “laboratory for modernization” in which the contamination of ideas develops the ability to create a culture towards the issues of lobbying issues and institutional relations.
