On May 6, 2016 the part-time MBA Graduation Day will take place, and LUISS Business School is glad to host Carlo Purassanta, CEO Microsoft Italy as Guest Speaker.

During the 24 months of the programme, the participants have been involved in lectures, projects, team works, company presentations and team building activities. They had the chance to participate in round table discussions with high-level managers coming from attractive Industries such as Luxury, FMCG and Pharma. They developed an efficient business network and met key players of the business ecosystems. Now the programme is over, and it’s time to celebrate this intense path all together.

Guest Speaker bio

Carlo_PurassantaCarlo Purassanta was appointed General Manager of Microsoft Italy on January 2013. Previously he served as Enterprise Services Area Lead for Microsoft France. Before joining Microsoft in 2011, Purassanta worked at IBM for over fourteen years, leading several segments in France and Europe. He served as Network Services Executive, Director of Infrastructure Services and Senior Business Development Executive for Strategic Outsourcing in Southwest Europe. He was also the official IBM’s spokesperson on cloud strategy.

He graduated at Politecnico di Milano University and then moved to France. He also studied in the UK for an MBA at the Henley Business School. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Foreign Investors Committee of Confindustria where he is responsible for its working group dedicated to “Research, innovation and education”.
