Benetton Group is one of the best-known fashion companies in the world, present in the most important markets with a network of about 5.000 stores: a responsible group that plans for the future and lives in the present, with a watchful eye to the environment, to human dignity, and to a society in transformation.

HEADQUARTER
Villa Minelli is a group of buildings with great historical and artistic interest. It dates back to the XVII cent. and is located in Ponzano Veneto (Treviso), about 30 km from Venice. It takes its name from the Minelli family, traders who came from Bergamo to Venice in 1500. In 1600 they paid 100,000 ducati to the Republic of Venice to acquire the title of “Venetian patrician” and they built their country villa in Ponzano. At beginning of the 19th century, the direct descendants of the Minelli family died out and the Villa remained in a neglected state for more than 150 years.
In 1968 the Villa was owned by the Benetton family who began restoration work lasting 15 years, under the direct control of the Preservation Authority for Venetian Monuments. The complex restoration work and functional adaptation were assigned to architects Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
