Bernardo is the President of Milano Ristorazione SpA. In over 30 years of managerial experience, he has been CEO and Member of the Board in groups like RAI, Future plc, Il Sole 24 ORE, driving growth, innovation and operational effectiveness in established companies and successful start-ups. Ability to focus on people, data and KPIs. Strong general management competencies developed by successfully managing medium sized companies. Proven ability in implementing process improvement strategies, finding innovative ways to do more with less and making things happen.
Areas of expertise: marketing, product development, operations, digital transformation and “innovation that makes sense” – as opposed to costly, technology-led waste of time and resources. A serial student, Bernardo graduated in Economics, cum laude, from Pavia University. He holds MBAs, cum laude, from Bocconi University and London Business School, and a Master in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University. In 2008-2009 he served as adjunct Professor (“professore a contratto”) in Communication, Innovation, Multimediality at University of Pavia.
