Maximo Ibarra got a degree in Political Sciences and Economics in Rome. He attended an MBA in 1994 at the School management “STOA’”, an Executive Program in Marketing of Telecommunications at INSEAD – Paris, a General Management Executive Program at the London Business School and finally a Executive Program at the Singularity University in the Silicon Valley. He worked in Telecom Italia Mobile and Omnitel/Vodafone from 1994 to 2000 where he covered different responsibilities becoming Head of the Consumer Marketing Department. From 2001 to 2004 he worked in Fiat Auto Services as VP for Business Development and Strategies, in DHL as Chief Commercial Officer and finally in Benetton Group as VP Worldwide for Marketing and Communication.
In 2004 back to the Telco Industry in Wind Telecomunicazioni where he was appointed CEO and COO in 2012. From 2005 he has been teaching Marketing and Digital Marketing at LUISS Guido Carli Rome’s University.
