Entrepreneur. Founder, president and CEO of Vetrya SpA, an Italian group listed on the Italian Stock Exchange and recognized leader in the innovative development of digital services. In 2015, he was appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic. In 1987, he joined the general management of SIP and in 1990, he curated the launch of the Italian mobile telephone service. Then, he performed positions of increasing responsibility in the Telecom Italia Group. In 1999, after leaving Telecom, he founded and managed as CEO several companies operating in the Internet and tlc world. In 2007, he returned to Telecom Italia as Senior Vice President performing the position of TIM Innovation Business Developer, Director, Mobile Virtual Network Operator and Broadband Content Director inventing the solution for CuboVision broadband tv. In 2010, he left Telecom Italia and founded the Vetrya S.p.A. Group, a company that counts among its Customers the most important publishers, broadcasters, media companies, telecom operators, banks and utilities of the country. It has braches in the Silicon Valley with Vetrya Inc., in the Southeast Asia with Vetrya Asia Pacific Bhd., Latin America with Vetrya do Brasil and in Spain with Vetrya Iberia. In 2014, he inaugurated the Vetrya Corporate Campus in Orvieto, an eco-sustainable structure with green, recreational and training areas, an innovative research and development center. He is a member of the Confindustria Umbria Board. He is a professor in Digital New Media and Telecommunications at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Economics of the University of Viterbo. He was a professor at the Guglielmo Reiss Romoli High School. He has received many national and international awards.
