Joris Ebbers is Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at <em>Luiss Business School<\/em> in Rome and the Academic Dean of its Amsterdam campus. Prior to this, he worked at the <em>University of<\/em> <em>Amsterdam Business School, <\/em>where he was Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation<em>, <\/em>Deputy Head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation section, and co-founder of the<em> Entrepreneurship and Management in Creative Industries (EMCI)<\/em> specialization in the Master Business Administration.His research and teaching focuses on strategic management, entrepreneurship, and social networks, particularly in the context of cultural\/creative industries and start-ups\/scale-ups. He published in academic journals that include <em>Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Harvard Business Review, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Organization Studies, Technovation, Journal of Cultural Economics, Journal of Digital Media &amp; Policy, Strategic Organization, Human Relations, <\/em>and<em> European Management Review.<\/em> He was a visiting scholar at <em>New York University\u2019s Stern School of Business, City University London\u2019s Bayes Business School, University of Bologna, RMIT<\/em>, <em>Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, <\/em>and the<em> University of Melbourne.<\/em> Finally, he is a member of the board of reviewers of <em>Journal of Business Venturing.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. dr.
