Visa<\/h3>\n

Citizens of the Schengen area do not require a visa, for more info visit http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/dgs\/home-affairs\/what-we-do\/policies\/borders-and-visas<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Non-EU students are required to have a visa and a residence permit when studying in Italy.<\/p>\n

Mobile Phone<\/h3>\n

In order to benefit from convenient phone rates, we suggest our international students to buy an Italian number\/SIM card.<\/p>\n

The SIM card is a prepaid card; there are no monthly fees and no need for a contract. Several phone companies operate in Italy and the major providers are: TIM; Wind; Vodafone; 3.<\/p>\n

Bank Account<\/h3>\n

The first step is to have the Italian Tax Code (Codice Fiscale) obtainable at the Agenzia delle Entrate<\/a> only when in possession of your Student Visa or other kinds, identification documents and a valid registration certificate for the course. At this point, you can go to any bank branch with your Tax Code (Codice Fiscale), Visa, identity card and ask to open a bank account.<\/p>\n

City of Rome<\/h3>\n

The City of Rome has a Call Centre offering information about transport, public office hours, documents, garbage disposal, and more.This service is available 24 hours a day seven days a week in Italian and from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 to 01:00 pm in Italian and in English.<\/p>\n
