Previously, I was a PhD student in Economics at the University of Bonn. In my research, I use empirical and theoretical methods to investigate insurers&#8217; role in financial markets. More specifically, I study the drivers of insurance companies&#8217; investment behavior, their interactions with other financial institutions, and how shocks to insurance markets are transmitted to other parts of the financial system.
