An initiative coordinated by Professor Francesco Rullani, in collaboration with &#8220;<strong>Energia per i Diritti Umani Onlus<\/strong>&#8221; for students of specialized Master in English of\u00a0 LUISS Business School.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet tw-align-center\" data-lang=\"it\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Designing a game for children in Senegal with limited time and resources. Students at work at the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ERSLab?src=hash\">#ERSLab<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/NQdBIOicIO\">pic.twitter.com\/NQdBIOicIO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 LUISS BusinessSchool (@LUISSBusiness) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LUISSBusiness\/status\/727065761919959040\">2 maggio 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the workshop is to broaden the perspectives of the students involved, make it clear to them that a good economic player must necessarily take into account the impact that its action raises in social and environmental context. A mission which characterizes the whole activity of <strong>ERShub <\/strong>&#8211;<strong> the hub for ethics, responsibility and sustainability<\/strong> &#8211; engaged in the Organization of this type for several courses of study of\u00a0 LUISS Business School and of the Department of business and Management.<\/p>\n<p>What kind of game can you conceive in order <strong>to transmit to children the value of collaboration<\/strong>? This was the task assigned to the students of the Master being tested in creating games aimed at kindergarten children managed by &#8220;Energia per i Diritti Umani Onlus&#8221; in Senegal and Gambia.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive right alignnone wp-image-11870\" src=\"https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/LUISSBusiness_ERSLab9-1.jpg\" alt=\"LUISSBusiness_ERSLab9\" width=\"575\" height=\"381\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/energiaperidirittiumani.it\/\">Energia per i Diritti Umani<\/a><\/strong>, present during the lab with several volunteers, is<strong> an organization active in the field of development and international cooperation with the aim to defend and disseminate human rights<\/strong>. The organization is active in different sectors (from education to female empowerment, from training to agricultural projects) in Senegal, Gambia, India and Italy and in particular it runs six different schools in the two African countries to confront the limits of their respective school systems.<\/p>\n<p>During the day students were divided in groups,<strong> they worked with great commitment to design and test a game with the aim to reach an objective, not a simple task at all<\/strong>. How to use the few materials available? To what extent has the game managed to convey the value of collaboration? Will the game be suitable for children aged between 3 and 5 years? How to\u00a0 empathize into a context, the African one, that is so different from the one we are used to?<\/p>\n<p>After confrontation regarding these matters students have exposed the games they have created in front of a jury. \u201c<strong>Fishermen and Fishes<\/strong>\u201d was the winner of the day, created by Angela, Chiara, Angelo, Fabrizio and Arianna and awarded for its simplicity and collaboration level required for its implementation.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11846 img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/collage_ERSLab.jpg\" alt=\"collage_ERSLab\" width=\"1024\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/collage_ERSLab.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/collage_ERSLab-810x316.jpg 810w, https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/collage_ERSLab-768x300.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\n<p>From brainstorming to idealization, from material assembling to the rules of the game, all participants have dealt with the workshop challenges with <strong>positivity<\/strong> and <strong>curiosity<\/strong>. A special mention is given to \u201c<strong>Les avions du Senegal<\/strong>\u201d created from the group composed by Maria Ludovica, Emilia, Carlo Alberto and Parfait, it distinguished itself for the particular imaginative idea and the &#8220;engineering&#8221; abilities in the realization of the game.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11862 img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/AAA.jpg\" alt=\"ERSLab_LUISSBusiness8\" width=\"1024\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/AAA.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/AAA-810x316.jpg 810w, https:\/\/businessschool.luiss.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/AAA-768x300.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>\n<p>A day to create, challenge their selves and most of all <strong>take into consideration the positive, social and environmental impact that the economy could have<\/strong>.
