\"programma-ego-2014\" The sixth\u00a0edition of the\u00a0EGO programme innovation award\u00a0 took off, \u00a0the\u00a0aim is to\u00a0select\u00a0the\u00a0most innovative ideas\u00a0in the field\u00a0of digital technologies\u00a0and\u00a0to support\u00a0the creation\u00a0or development of\u00a0new\u00a0business ventures.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0EGO programme\u00a0is part of\u00a0the\u00a0social\u00a0responsibility projects\u00a0of\u00a0Ericsson\u00a0in\u00a0Italy\u00a0and is\u00a0an initiative\u00a0of the Foundation\u00a0Lars Magnus\u00a0Ericsson\u00a0in collaboration\u00a0with\u00a0some of the most important\u00a0Italian universities:\u00a0LUISS\u00a0Guido Carli,\u00a0Rome\u00a0University\u00a0la Sapienza, Universit\u00e0 degli\u00a0Studi di Roma\u00a0Tor Vergata,\u00a0\u00a0Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna\u00a0di Pisa,\u00a0Universit\u00e0 degli\u00a0Studi di Siena and\u00a0\u00a0Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Trento.<\/p>\n

The competition is\u00a0aimed\u00a0for students, graduates,\u00a0doctoral students\u00a0and researchers\u00a0from \u00a0partner universities, also start-ups,\u00a0innovative companies,\u00a0team project and single projects aged\u00a0less than 35\u00a0years old.\u00a0To apply\u00a0you must complete\u00a0the application form\u00a0(downloadable\u00a0at\u00a0www.fondazione-ericsson.org)\u00a0and\u00a0send your\u00a0project idea\u00a0to\u00a0the \u00a0email ego.project@ericsson.com\u00a0no later than\u00a0October 10, 2014.\u00a0It is also advisable to\u00a0attach\u00a0a\u00a0synthetic\u00a0business plans\u00a0and the\u00a0proposers CV.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0the new edition of\u00a0the\u00a0EGO programme,\u00a0Ericsson\u00a0will provide\u00a0the four\u00a0entrepreneurial project\u00a0winners\u00a0an\u00a0 economic\u00a0contribution\u00a0for the initial phase\u00a0of\u00a0the development of the business\u00a0and\u00a0a year of\u00a0on-campus\u00a0incubation at\u00a0Ericsson\u00a0in Rome.\u00a0During\u00a0this period\u00a0the\u00a0start-ups\u00a0will benefit from\u00a0offices, consultation related to the organisational, the commercial, the technological,\u00a0legal and financial part,\u00a0and\u00a0will have the opportunity to\u00a0get in touch\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0customer network\u00a0and\u00a0international partners\u00a0of the company.<\/p>\n

While not\u00a0establishing\u00a0a\u00a0fundamental\u00a0pre-requisite\u00a0for admission to the\u00a0selection process,\u00a0We are considering of\u00a0particular interest\u00a0the following areas:\u00a0 Digital public administration,\u00a0Learning,\u00a0Media &\u00a0TV,\u00a0Internet\u00a0of\u00a0things,\u00a0mobility and\u00a0transport, the environment and\u00a0sustainability.<\/p>\n
