Curriculum

The Intensive Programme in Food & Beverage is organized in 7 modules. 

Module 1: Wine & Spirits Industry: UAE & Gcc Market Characteristics

This module explores the wine and spirits industry in the UAE and GCC, focusing on market trends, consumer preferences, and business opportunities, with case studies on successful companies.

Module 2: Food And Wine And Tourism In The UAE

Focusing on the integration of food, wine, and tourism in the UAE and GCC, this module examines culinary cultures and successful business models in hospitality.

Module 3: Export And Strategic Orientation

Participants will gain insights into the opportunities and challenges of the UAE and GCC markets, market segmentation, and strategies for competing and developing business relationships.

Module 4: Logistics & Supply Chain Management

This module covers logistics and supply chain management in the UAE, examining trade routes, critical issues, and risk management in the region’s logistics sector.

Module 5: Marketing, Communication & Branding

Participants will learn how to implement marketing campaigns, increase brand visibility, and leverage social media and events to amplify brand presence in the UAE.

Module 6: Sustainability Awareness

This module focuses on sustainability practices in the wine and spirits industry and explores market responses to environmental and ethical issues, supported by relevant case studies.

Module 7: Strategic Visits

This module includes visits to key industry locations like MMI “Academies,” high-end restaurants, retail outlets, and logistics facilities to provide hands-on learning and industry insights.

Programme Schedule, Delivery and Locations

The program will take place in Autumn 2025 for a total duration of 48 hours. 

The programme is designed to be delivered 80% on campus and 20% online, in synchronous  mode. The  formula involves class delivery online on weekdays from 18:00 to 21:00 and class delivery on campus on weekdays from 09:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00.

Location 

On campus lessons will take place at Luiss Business School Dubai Hub for Made in Italy, Sheikh Zayed Road, Convention Tower – 4th floor, Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
