Objectives of the Major in Tourism Management
The tourism industry is expected to continue growing and increasing in economic relevance for the next two decades. This growth will result in industry changes, more intense competition and new forms of cooperation among public and private actors as well as small companies and large international groups. In this environment, the quality of human resources will be even more important for a company’s success. It will require a mix of capabilities to exploit opportunities offered by technology, to build networks among different actors and assets to create complex tourist products. Diploma and ECTS
The Master in International Management – Major in Tourism Management is a one-year Master of Science equivalent to “Master Universitario di I livello” in accordance with the Italian university system. It provides students with 65 ECTS – European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System. At the end of the programme, the Master’s Diploma “Master Universitario di I livello” will be conferred to participants who have passed exams or others assessment tests envisaged in the study program.
