Our Team
CeSID is a Competence Center of Researchers, Students, Scholars, Administrative Staff and Professionals interested in Sustainability, Inclusion and Digitalization issues and in exchanging ideas, knowledge and information to foster project-based collaboration, supporting every Area within the School and acting as a catalyst with stakeholders.
CeSID is coordinated by the Governance team, in charge of giving value to all the activities related to Sustainability, Inclusion and Digitalization values going on in Luiss Business School.
Moreover, CeSID is supported by Scientific Collaborators and an Advisory Board, providing suggestions on how to develop and implement CeSID activities.
Governance
Cristiano Busco, Head
PhD in Accounting at the University of Manchester, Cristiano is the MBA Director at Luiss Business School, and professor of Accounting and Integrated Reporting at Roehampton University, London, and previously also at Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome, Italy.
He has also held teaching and research positions within the US (University of Southern California – LA – and Babson College, – Boston -), UK (Manchester Business School), Irish (National University of Ireland, Galway) and Italian universities (University of Siena). Cristiano’s research focuses on management accounting, performance measurement, as well as integrated thinking and reporting. He published in peer-reviewed journals such as Accounting, Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Management Accounting Research, Journal of Management and Governance, Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management, Journal of Accounting and Change and Business Horizons as well as in professional journals such as the Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, Strategic Finance and Financial Management. Simone Budini, Project Leader
Simone is Project Leader of CeSID and Assistant Professor of Political Philosophy at Pontifical Salesian University of Rome. Simone holds two Master Degrees: in Political Science (La Sapienza) and Philosophy (Tor Vergata), and a PhD in Political Philosophy and History of Political Doctrines (La Sapienza). His research focuses on the relationship between individual, religious and political ethics; social Christian thought; bioethics and post-humanism. Sara Succhiarelli, Project Coordinator
Sara holds a BA in Foreign Languages for Business and Administration and a MA in Foreign Languages for International Communication both achieved at LUMSA University of Rome. Thanks to a scholarship gained at LUMSA, she spent a significant study period at Stony Brook University (NY, USA) and in London. She gained professional experience in very different companies according to social impact and width, including one at Luiss Business School, in two different areas: Custom Programs and ERShub, as a Project Assistant. Currently, within CeSID, is Project Coordinator, in addition to be part of the Students Recruitment Staff.

Luca Mongelli, Head
Luca Mongelli is Marie Curie Research Fellow (Horizon2020) at IESE Business School in Barcelona, and Executive Director of Market, Culture and Ethics (MCE) research center, at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce di Roma (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross) in Rome.
PhD in Management at Luiss, Luca has also been visiting scholar at Royal School of Technology in Stockholm (2010) and the Stern Business School, belonging to NYU (2011). Within Luiss Business School he has been co-founder (2014) and Scientific Coordinator of ERShub, and Faculty Professor of the ERS labs. In 2017 he has been Country Manager of European Research Project (7FP) “Social Enterprise – SEFORIS”.
He has recently founded Ridaje, a social start-up working on homelessness.
His research focuses on innovation and social entrepreneurship, and the empowerment models promoted by hybrid organizations pivoting on integral development of outcasts.
Luca’s academic publications appeared on academic journals, like: Journal of Business Ethics, Business Ethics Quarterly, Social Innovation Journal, Industry and Innovation.
