Meet The Team
Double Degree

With an extended network of International Universities and Institutions, Luiss Business School offers its students the opportunity to participate in Double Degree study programmes.

The Double Degree study programme allows students from specific Majors/Minors to complete part of their Master’s studies at a partner institution abroad and obtains a double degree recognised in two countries, one from Luiss Business School and one from the foreign university/institution.

To participate in the double degree pathway, candidates must apply during the registration window at the end of September. Students will be informed about deadlines and procedures.

MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, Austria.

Major in Tourism Management students who meet specific requirements can obtain a double degree in partnership with MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, Austria.

At the end of the Programme, participants who have passed exams or others assessment tests envisaged in the study program will obtain two degrees awarded from each school.

Calendar

The first part of the programme is held at Luiss Business School, Rome (Italy), and starts between September – February. Once the first part is completed, students will transfer to MCI Entrapreneurial School to conclude the second part of the programme.

Participants will attend Luiss Business School from September to February and transfer to MCI to attend the second part of the programme from March to December. Luiss Business School students will attend MCI for one additional semester from July to September for thesis work and where participants will have the final exam and thesis presentation under the MCI supervision and assessment.

Fees

Luiss Business School students are exempted from tuition fees at The Entrepreneurial School, MCI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 180 ECTS
  • English C1 level (or higher) 
  •  Work experience in Tourism/management (recommended)
  • Students must not have a Luiss Business School average grade at the time of application.

Application and Ranking

Students enrolled in the Major in Tourism Management will be informed about deadlines and procedures during the opportunity’s presentation, which opens at the end of September.

To apply, students must provide:

  • Copy of passport or ID document
  • Motivation letter
  • Valid English certificate for C1 level (or higher) 
  • Most recent Degree final grade

Due to limited seats (2), Candidates will be asked to participate in a personal interview and will be ranked based on a merit list

Université Laval, Canada

Major in Tourism Management students who meet specific requirements can obtain a double degree with our partner school Université Laval, Québec, Canada.

At the end of the Programme, participants who have passed exams or others assessment tests envisaged in the study program will obtain two degrees awarded from each school.

Calendar

The first part of the Major in Tourism Management is held at Luiss Business School, Rome (Italy). Once the first part is completed, students will transfer to Université Laval to conclude the second part of the programme.

Participants will attend Luiss Business School from September to February and transfer to Université Laval to attend the second part of the programme from September to July. Luiss Business School students will be asked to submit a  a thesis to Univerité Laval as a final work during the summer period.

Luiss Business School students are exempted from tuition fees at Université Laval.

  • Motivation letter
  • Valid English certificate – VEPT 63 /70; TEOIC 825 /990; TOEFL 93 /120; IELTS 7/ 9
  • Completed Courses: Statistics, Economics, and Organizational Behavior or Human Resources during the Bachelor’s degree
  • Bachelor degree general GPA 27/30
  • Current transcripts
  • Students must not have a Luiss Business School outstanding balance at the time of application.
