On July 29, LUISS Business School has founded its Alumni Association, the agreement of which was signed at the LUISS campus on Viale Pola in Rome by the Business School’s Dean Paolo Boccardelli, and the alumni Alessandro Belli, Edoardo Magnotta, Lorenzo Blanco Almena, Aurelio Latella, Giuseppe Taranto, Luigi Zollo, Duilio Carusi and Nicoletta Luppi, President of the association. The founders also make up the Committee of Wise, which governs the Alumni Association together with its Council, and elects its President.

Alumni_LUISSBusiness_featProfessor Paolo Boccardelli participated at the Committee to highlight the strong commitment of the School in supporting its alumni. After a long process, the association was finally launched. The mission of the Alumni Association is to strengthen and enhance the relationships between the Business School’s alumni, now in charge of different professional tasks around world. The community is open to all the graduates of LUISS Business School’s Master’s, MBA and Executive Education programmes of at least 8 months.

“It’s a special day,” Professor Paolo Boccardelli said, “the School officially launches its alumni community. LUISS Business School is working on establishing a strategic development plan in order to offer our alumni personalised services and networking activities. Alumni are a strategic asset, they have spent an important part of their lives at the School sharing the experience with us, and they are also our authentic brand ambassadors, who have the capacity to create a link between the education and business world.”

It is a historic moment in the life of the LUISS Business School. A degree programme or an MBA is a very important part in the lives of former students, and the School aims to take care of them creating an intertwined and beneficial network. On the one hand the School has invested and is still investing in the launch and development of the association, both with technological tools, such as Graduway, a platform that will allow the alumni to communicate with each other and intercept job or business opportunities, as well as with a wide range of services, such as business coaching and career consulting, newsletters and life-long education programmes. On the other hand, the alumni will be the brand ambassadors of the LUISS Business School, sharing their experience and contributing to a special mentorship programme, getting involved in developing the education process and corporate relations.

In September, the first meeting of the Alumni Association will take place in order to define the starting steps and activities, that will lead to the well-functioning community of the LUISS Business School alumni.
