Objectives

The International Week in Fashion Business in Dubai: Market Dynamics and Consumer Insights will help students to analyze and discuss the distinctive aspects of doing business in the Middle East, including market trends, cultural considerations, and economic factors impacting the fashion industry. Learners will assess different business models within the fashion industry, focusing on brand positioning, heritage, and distribution channels relevant to the market of the Middle East. At the same time, they will gain an understanding of how heritage, characteristics, and collection positioning contribute to a brand’s identity, enabling them to evaluate and differentiate brands effectively in a competitive market.

By attending this program, students will:

  • Understand the Unique Business Landscape of the Middle East
  • Evaluate Business Models in the Middle Eastern Fashion Industry
  • Analyze Brand Positioning and Characteristics for Fashion Brands

Target Audience

The program is intended for graduates (or soon to be graduates), from all disciplines, interested in exploring AI topics through case studies, company visits, and interactions with industry leaders.

Curriculum

The International Week is designed to seamlessly intertwine frontal lessons, guest lectures, company and cultural visits, and interactive activities, offering participants an exciting and immersive learning experience.

The key topics will be:

  • The Fashion Business in the Middle East
  • Business Models and Market Dynamics in the Fashion Industry
  • Brand Identity and Positioning
  • Experiential Learning in Fashion
  • Corporate visits, including showrooms and offices in Dubai’s design district.

For Luiss Business School and Luiss Guido Carli students

Tuition Fee: €450
Tuition includes course materials and access to Luiss Business School facilities.

For all other students

Tuition Fee: €1000

The tuition fee is payable online.

How to apply

Fill in the Application Form (attivare link al CRM) to enroll in the International Week. The following documents will be requested: 

  • copy of degree certificate or self declaration
  • curriculum vitae
  • copy of passport or ID document

ECTS and Certificate of Participation

Participants will earn 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) upon completing the International Week. A Certificate of Participation will be issued to those attending at least 80% of the program’s activities.
