Through individual and group meeting, CS staff supports students to define their career path, building their online personal brand and running mock interviews.
Employer Engagement
Career Service works with employers to find the best way to promote their reputation and have the School serve as part of their employer branding strategy. Employers are introduced to the students through company presentations, lectures, on-site visits and during the MBA Career Day.
Career support projects
During the year, activities are organised into different steps to have a better understanding of students’ profiles and match them with the best employers. The Career Services Office manages the following ad-hoc career support projects.
Competency-Based Interview Simulation
An important step in student preparation for placement is the Simulated Interview. Based on a real open position, the student must arrive prepared for a mock interview.
CV Book and Online Services
The Career Service Office provides support to students in editing their CVs and cover letters. The resulting CV book is periodically sent to companies and institutions that are interested in students’ profiles for potential or current open positions. At the same time, the Career Services Office proactively seeks additional opportunities that fit the profiles and expectations of the students.
Job Teaser
The online platform called Job Teaser, used by top Universities and Business School globally, allows students to upload their CVs and directly apply for open positions posted by the School or by companies, both in Italy and all over Europe.
External Career Advisory Service
The Career Services Office also organises individual meetings with external Career Advisors, generally former senior managers from different industries, to support the definition of career goals and the individual value proposition. This service also includes a set of Industry-Focused Workshops and on-site company visits.
Feedback sessions
Feedback is an essential part of effective learning and development and gives clear guidance to students on how to improve their profile. Feedbacks help also improve student’s confidence, self-awareness, and enthusiasm for learning and development.
