The International Center for Research on Social Innovation (CeRIIS) was founded by the LUISS Guido Carli University and Italia Camp in 2013.
Its mission is to study the phenomenon of social innovation, develop conceptual models useful for its effective implementation, promote experimentation and foster collaboration between all the stakeholders involved in social innovative processes.
CeRIIS is developing a set of activities to become one of the most leading players in the Italian social innovation eco-system. According to this mission, its activities include research, experimentation and cultural integration. In order to achieve these activities, collaborations with private companies, foundations, public institutions and government institutions are being implemented.
The CeRIIS also encourages the profusion of social innovation within the LUISS Guido Carli and within other Italian universities through initiatives in the context of ethics, social entrepreneurship, social and environmental responsibility.
