Full professor of labor law and EU labor law at the University of Catania, he has also taught at the University of Chieti, at Cornell University and since 2014 he has been an adjunct professor at the Luiss Guido Carli University. He has also held various roles, including Councilor for the Sicily Region for the Family, Social Policies and Work, Member of the Scientific Committee for Anci (National Association of Italian Municipalities), President of the CEA (Center for processing systems and scientific and didactic applications) at University of Catania and is the author of many publications.
