Born in Rome in 1963, graduated in Electronic Engineering and specialized in Industrial Safety at the Faculty of Engineering of La Sapienza. I have been involved in Business Intelligence and Performance Management since 1988, working for years at an international level, following as an architect projects in the fields of Space, Defense, Telco in the UK, Holland, Spain, Germany.
Back in Italy in 1998, I led the development of important Business Intelligence projects, first of all Customer Profiling for Telecom Italia Mobile, and then took responsibility for the Oracle Practice of BI & Data Warehouse for Italy, making it a case of success on the Oracle international scene.
In 2006 I became Head of Consulting for the EMEA market of BI & Data Warehouse solutions at Oracle and then, in 2009 – following the Hyperion acquisition – I was responsible for the Hyperion Product Line in Consulting in Western Europe.
From 2010 to 2015 I was Oracle Country Leader Business Analytics for Italy.
In 2013 he started creating, together with prof. Giuseppe Ragusa, the concept of the Master in Big Data Analytics for LUISS Business School. The Master, operational since 2014, was the first Master in Italy on the topics of Data Science. At the moment I am director of the Big Data Lab of LUISS Business School and I work in IConsulting (a company specialized in Big Data solutions) as head of the Indyco start-up (the only one among the 4 winners of the Gartner Big Data Cool Vendor Award 2015 not to be American) and Marketing and Sales.
