Monica Parrella, Adjunt Faculty Member at Luiss Business School since 2019, is Director General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Her main areas of specialization are organizational innovation, digital technologies applied to human resources management, leadership, including remote leadership, and equal opportunities.

She graduated summa cum laude in Law from the University of Rome La Sapienza, earned a PhD in Banking and Financial Markets Law from the University of Siena and qualified as a lawyer.

During her career, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in the public sector, including that of coordinator of the PNRR Mission Unit at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

She was also Director General of Personnel of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), where she introduced innovative organizational policies, and directed the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Interventions in the field of Equality and Equal Opportunities, coordinating pioneering projects, aimed at promoting flexible forms of work in the public sector, and European projects on equal opportunities issues.
