Daniele Rossi, Adjunct Faculty Member at Luiss Business School, Luxemburger and pro-European, is an expert in industrial economics, with a focus on collaboration and competition between companies and markets. Following early experiences at CENSIS with Giuseppe De Rita and at the IRI Group (Sofin – SPS SpA) with Gerolamo Colavitti and Michele Dau, since the 1990s he has been dedicated to the agri-food and agro-industrial sectors within Confindustria with Presidents Bassetti, Peroni, Sampietro, Rossi di Montelera, Auricchio e Ferrua, and within Confagricoltura with Presidents Guidi, Giansanti and Todini, holding CEO, Managing Director, General Director, and Chair roles in Rome and Brussels. He has developed expertise in strategic analysis, industrial policies, advocacy, planning, and organization of industrial investments and supply chain partnerships at national and international levels.

He has played a proactive role in identifying regulatory needs and shaping inter-company and labor agreements to support the adoption of innovative technologies and business models. He graduated with honors in Statistics and Economics from Sapienza University of Rome and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for a Ph.D. in Statistics at UCLA. Currently, he is Head of R&I at Confagricoltura, Vice President of the Agrifood Cluster, Secretary General of AgroNetwork, Vice Chairman of the Copa-Cogeca and FoodDrinkEurope R&I groups. He has served as DG of Federalimentare- Confindustria, CEO of Conai and CIBUS, Administrator of Birraviva Consortium, Coordinator of PNRR experts for Umbria, and Court-Appointed Administrator (Antimafia) in Rome.
