Alberto Castelvecchi (Rome, 1962), linguist and philologist, teaches Effective Communication ITEN and Public Speaking at Luiss University in Rome and he is an Adjunct Professor for Luiss Business School’s Faculty, where he does intensive work as a trainer for Masters and companies in various sector.
In 2022 he was appointed Advisor to the President of the Italian Senate on Institutional Affairs. He is now a member of scientific committee of Fondazione Leonardo – Civiltà delle Macchine. Alberto has been a member of the Executive Committee of veDrò.
He founded the publishing house that bears his family name (Castelvecchi Editore, established 1993), specialized in new trends and new languages, inclusivity, gender diversity, innovation.
Since 2008 he has left the publishing world for strategic consulting and teaching.
He wrote (with Luca Serianni) the most prominent Italian Grammar available, “Italiano. Grammatica, sintassi, dubbi” (Torino, Utet 1987), now in the “Garzantine” series.

He collaborate with public figures, managers, entrepreneurs, and MPs across Europe, the Mediterranean area and USA.
He also published a book on the American Intelligence Community “L’Intelligence americana. Uomini, strutture e politiche dei servizi Usa” (Roma, Cooper Castelvecchi, 2002).
