Full Professor of Business Organization and Organization and Human Resource Management at Guglielmo Marconi University since 2006.

Adjunct Professor of Business Organization at Luiss Guido Carli University since 2004, and lecturer in postgraduate specialization programs and Master’s courses at Luiss Business School since 2003.

He served as Assistant Professor (tenured Researcher) and subsequently Associate Professor of Business Organization at Guglielmo Marconi University of Rome from 2008 to 2015, where he also held the positions of Director of the Master in Business Administration and, from 2010, Director of the Master in Human Resource Management and Organization (MRUO).

He has taught Business Organization at the University of L’Aquila and Sapienza University of Rome, as well as Organization of Information Systems at Luiss Guido Carli (a.y. 2001–2009).

In 2001, he was a Visiting Ph.D. Student at the InterLabs Research Institute of Bradley University (Peoria, IL, USA), and in 2004 a Visiting Researcher at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA, USA).

Since 2011, he has been Scientific Director and Coordinator of national and European projects funded through competitive calls at Luiss Business School.

Since 2016, he has been Scientific Director and Coordinator of the INPS “Valore PA” training programs at Luiss Business School, designed for managers and officials of central and local public administrations. These include courses on “Design of Service Models in Public Organizations, Back-Office Reorganization, and Digital Transformation of Work Processes” and “Design of Service Models in Public Organizations: Digital Documents, Document Management and Preservation Systems, Big Data Management.”

He works as a consultant and project manager for public administrations, supporting the management of special government projects and organizational innovation initiatives; he also serves as a project evaluator for several Ministries. He participates in program committees of international conferences and is a member of editorial boards of scientific journals.

An expert in the digitalization of work processes, he has been a member of the “Digital Health” Working Group at the Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (AgID), under the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, since 2006.

He is the author of over 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications and science communication contributions, both nationally and internationally.

His main research interests include business organization, information systems, innovative human resource management, advanced technologies for education, and systems supporting integration, coordination, team collaboration, and inclusion in the workplaces.
