Francesco Di Ciommo, a cassation lawyer, holder of scientific qualification as full professor of “Economics and Banking and Financial Markets Law”, is a full professor of “Private Law” at Luiss “Guido Carli”; university of which he has been Pro-Rector since 2021 and where he also teaches Corporate Governance. 

Since 2009, owner of the law firm “Di Ciommo & Partners” (www.diciommoandpartners.com), among other things former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Previndai Fund and Banca Widiba S.p.A., and former independent director of SACE Bt S.p.A., he has been a member of the board of directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti since 2023 and since 2024, upon appointment of the Minister for Business and Made in Italy, Extraordinary Commissioner of Ilva s.p.a. in AS and of five other companies in which it has a stake. Furthermore, Prof. Di Ciommo has been – and is currently – president of several Supervisory Bodies pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, including those of listed companies. In the sports sector, among other things, since 2025 he has been Vice President of AS Luiss s.s.d. and President of the SGO of the Italian Gymnastics Federation, while since 2020 he has been President of the Guarantee Commission of the Italian Winter Sports Federation.
