Silvia Dello Russo, PhD in Organizational Psychology, is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at Luiss Guido Carli University and Associate Dean for Research at Luiss Business School. She previously held academic positions at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal) and TBS Education (Toulouse, France) besides gaining further academic experience through visiting research fellowships or lectureship abroad (at Rotman School of Management, Toronto, Canada; Aston Business School, Birmingham, UK; Catholic University of Rome, Italy; WU, Vienna, Austria; IAE Lyon School of Management/Université Lyon III Jean Moulin, Lyon, France). 

Her research interests include HRM practices for individual development (performance management and feedback; coaching; career management), work motivation along the life span, and the interaction between an individual and the organizational context (structural, physical, task and, mostly, the social context). These three main areas are also often intertwined. 
Her research has been funded by FCT (Portugal), SIOP Foundation (USA) and PRIN (Italy) and was published in such journals as Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal. 

She was elected as Representative at Large for the Career Division of the Academy of Management (AoM; 2020-2023) and is currently co-chair of the Human Resource Management track of the European Academy of Management (EURAM).
