Ingrid NAPPI has been a research professor at ESSEC Business School since 1994 and holder of the Real Estate and Sustainable Development Chair which she created in 2002. She holds also the Chair of Workplace Management Research. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).She is also President of ERES (European Real Estate Society), and has been Director at large of ERES since 1999.She is also a member of the Conseil Immobilier de l’Etat (State Consultative Committee for Real Estate Affairs) and of the Conseil de Développement du Grand Paris (Greater Paris Metropolitan Area Economic Development Committee). She has been awarded the Pierre d’Or Trophy in Sustainable Real Estate and the prestigious French distinction, the Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.Her fields of research and teaching are at the crossroads of Economics, Finance and Urban Geography. They cover management, corporate real estate (offices, outlets, etc.) and smart cities. She has co-supervised two working groups on the Plan Bâtiment Durable (national sustainable building project).
