Luca Desiata, Adjunct Faculty Member at Luiss Business School, was appointed in 2024 as a member of the Advisory Board of the Italian Nuclear Safety Authority (ISIN) by Decree of the President of the Republic (D.P.R). He served as CEO of the state-owned company Sogin from 2016 to 2019 and as Country Manager of Enel in France and Belgium from 2013 to 2016. Previously, he worked as a consultant for Accenture, Bain, and the World Bank. 

He earned an MBA from INSEAD in 1999 and a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995 from the University of Pisa and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. Among his publications:
