Professor María Cristina Mengual García is a professional with more than twelve years of work experience in international development, especially managing different projects related to institutional strengthening in Guatemala in areas such as citizen security, economic development, malnutrition and the environment, among others. Experience in the field (Central America) of 3 years. Consultant in multilateral institutions and private corporations in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects as well as organisational and market studies. Great capacity for communication, dissemination and visibility, as well as administrative and corporate management of entities. Professor of Development Economics at the Francisco Marroquín University (Guatemala) and the Comillas Pontifical University (Spain). The professor has a degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. Subsequently, he completed a Master’s Degree at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in France on European Affairs, finishing his training with the Master’s Degree in International Economics and Development from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has participated in a sustainable metropolitan planning laboratory of the Massachusets Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA, also collaborating with a publication of said laboratory. Relevant skills: results-oriented management, flexibility, proactive attitude, ability to adapt to new environments, analytical thinking and ability to work in a team and under pressure. Management of computer tools and the internet.
