The competition is aimed at the search and selection of seven artists, Italian or international, each of whom will be given the opportunity to produce an original track to be released in EP format at the Luiss BS Records recording studio of Luiss Business School S.p.A SB. The submitted tracks will be evaluated and selected by a jury of industry experts. The competition requires that the submitted works develop the theme of the EP, “Echoes – New voices. One resonance.”, a title born from the desire to give space to the new musical generation while highlighting sonic innovation.
The call for applications focuses on the musical versatility of the contemporary generation. Through the selection of tracks spanning different genres and styles, the aim is to highlight the artistic originality of emerging talents.
The outcome of the initiative will be the production and release of an EP featuring seven tracks by seven different artists, giving them the opportunity to express themselves within a single project that blends diverse influences and musical visions.
The title “Echoes – New Voices. One Resonance” reflects the intention to give space to a new musical generation by promoting sonic innovation. The search is for original, unreleased tracks that bring something new and reflect the uniqueness of each artist, offering them the chance to resonate over time through their music.
The competition creates a new area of cultural innovation, focused not only on education but also on supporting and discovering young songwriters at both national and international levels.
The competition is open to all artists residing in Italy—either solo or in groups—who meet the following requirements:
They must be under 30 years of age (for groups, at most one member may already be 30 or older).
Applicants may submit only one track, which must be original and unreleased, and clearly reflect the theme of the competition.
The seven selected tracks will be produced in the Luiss BS Records recording studio of Luiss Business School S.p.A. SB. Artists will be supported during the production phase by students of the Master’s program in Management of Creative and Cultural Industries, Major in Music Business at Luiss Business School S.p.A. SB.
The deadline for submitting tracks is June 30, 2026, no later than 11:59 PM (Italian time).
