LUISS BS Sponsor of the Charity concert "With the poor and for the poor. For the charity work of Pope Francis"

Thanks to the Competence Centre & Lab: Public Sector, Health and No-Profit, the LUISS Business School is a sponsor of the charity concert "WITH THE POOR AND FOR THE POOR. FOR THE CHARITY WORK OF POPE FRANCIS”. The Salerno Philharmonic Giuseppe Verdi Orchestra and the Choir of the Diocese of Rome will be directed by M° Daniel Oren and will perform the music of Mons. Marco Frisina. The poor will be the guests of honour of the event thanks to the commitment of charity and voluntary associations involved in the event organisation. The Executive Real Estate Finance programme is about to start

The Executive Real Estate Finance (EREF) programme is starting on April 13th . EREF is the LUISS Business School initiative dedicated to executive (entrepreneurs, managers, professionals) who work in the field of real estate and real estate finance. The programme aims to develop innovative strategies with a strong impact on the business and focuses on direct testimonials from major players in the market with the aim to share and transfer best practices directly from those who have created new opportunities and made concrete initiatives, also by contributing in the development of quality in the industry. EGO programme Innovation award 2014

The sixth edition of the EGO programme innovation award took off, the aim is to select the most innovative ideas in the field of digital technologies and to support the creation or development of new business ventures. The EGO programme is part of the social responsibility projects of Ericsson in Italy and is an initiative of the Foundation Lars Magnus Ericsson in collaboration with some of the most important Italian universities: LUISS Guido Carli, Rome University la Sapienza, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa, Università degli Studi di Siena and Università degli Studi di Trento. The competition is aimed for students, graduates, doctoral students and researchers from partner universities, also start-ups, innovative companies, team project and single projects aged less than 35 years old. To apply you must complete the application form (downloadable at www.fondazione-ericsson.org) and send your project idea to the email ego.project@ericsson.com no later than October 10, 2014. It is also advisable to attach a synthetic business plans and the proposers CV. With the new edition of the EGO programme, Ericsson will provide the four entrepreneurial project winners an economic contribution for the initial phase of the development of the business and a year of on-campus incubation at Ericsson in Rome. During this period the start-ups will benefit from offices, consultation related to the organisational, the commercial, the technological, legal and financial part, and will have the opportunity to get in touch with the customer network and international partners of the company. While not establishing a fundamental pre-requisite for admission to the selection process, We are considering of particular interest the following areas: Digital public administration, Learning, Media & TV, Internet of things, mobility and transport, the environment and sustainability. LUISS Business School and Oracle are launching the Master in Big Data Analytics

LUISS Business School and Oracle are launching the Master in Big Data Analytics. This Masters is fully taught in English and aims to train professionals specialised in the analysis of massive amounts of data that is now present in firms and public organisations. The Master lasts 12 months with 8 months lecture based and 4 months of Field Project, it will be held at the headquarters of the LUISS Business School and will start in November 2014.
