Paolo built his finance expertise through leadership roles at global organizations including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and Fiat Group before moving to the MENA region in 2015 to assume the role of CFO at Chalhoub Group. In the MENA region, he has focused on driving growth and operational excellence within family-owned businesses, leveraging his extensive experience in the FMCG, retail, and automotive sectors across Europe and the USA.

Currently, as the CFO of Al Khayyat Investments, Paolo is responsible for ensuring sustainable growth, optimizing business support, and leading the Group’s finance function.

Paolo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, a master’s degree in Finance from London Business School, and an Executive Certificate in Technology and Operations from the MIT Sloan School of Management. His academic background reflects his passion for the digitalization of back-office processes, where he combines strategic insight with technological innovation to drive efficiency and improve operations.

A UK CIMA Chartered Accountant, Paolo has a proven track record of spearheading transformative financial strategies, improving operational efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.
