Co-Founder & Managing Director - Optimus Via
Robert is an accomplished organizational leader with a proven record of growing impactful, profitable organizations and driving change in complex environments worldwide. He has worked across government, business, and non-profit sectors, advising corporate strategy, transformation, communications, and global operations—particularly in emerging markets.
He began his career in the Clinton White House and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, contributing to major initiatives including China’s entry into the WTO. He later founded an internationally focused management and strategic communications consulting firm serving public and private clients, including the United Nations, where he led reforms, managed global programs, and built cross-sector partnerships. Robert has also advised international political campaigns and served as press secretary on two U.S. presidential campaigns. He was formerly CEO of the Association of Change Management Professionals and now leads Optimus Via, an international management and investment company.
Robert holds a joint MBA from Kellogg School of Management and HKUST, a master’s in international relations, and a bachelor’s in physical science (physics). He has lived and worked globally and currently splits his time between Rome and Washington, DC. Beyond his career, Robert is deeply committed to social impact and improving lives around the world.
