Paolo Santucci De Magistris is a Professor of Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Finance. Previously, he was an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University in Denmark.

His research focuses primarily on time-series and financial econometrics. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pavia in February 2010. His academic journey includes several research appointments: a visiting Ph.D. period at CREATES (2008–2009), a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Padova (2010–2011), and an FSE Post-Doc fellowship at CREATES (2011–2013). In 2014, he conducted research at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
