Saverio Bozzolan is Professor of Accounting since November 2014.
He received a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Venice (1996) and earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in Statistics from the University of Padova (1991). During his studies, he spent a semester at the Industrial and Finance Division at the Bank of England (1992) and a period at the City University Business School in London (now Cass Business School – 1995).
He studies financial reporting, corporate governance, and corporate disclosure in capital markets. He is also working on behavioral (experimental) financial accounting; in particular he is studying how financial analysts and decision makers use accounting information in their cognitive processes.
Outside of academia, in his professional life Saverio served as Board Member for unlisted companies and now is serving as a Statutory Auditor for three listed companies and for a Bank. He is also involved in selected consultancy activities on company valuation, debt restructuring and financial planning.
