Mirko is Senior Partner and Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Dubai, and Adjunct Faculty Member of the Luiss Business School – Dubai Hub.

Born in Rome, after his Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Roma Tre University, he works for 5 years at Kuwait Petroleum Italia (Q8). In 2006-2007, he obtains his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at SDA Bocconi, with an exchange program at SEM Tsinghua (Beijing, PRC). He joins Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in 2007 and is part of the initial founding team of the BCG Dubai Office in 2008 (now home to more than ~1,000 consultants). Mirko is an expert in the Middle-East’s development journey, having advised multiple GCC governments on their investment attraction programs, diversification efforts, infrastructure development plans and overall non-oil GDP growth agendas.

Mirko is also a senior leader in the BCG Energy Practice, leading the Refining & Petrochemicals segment globally.

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and author of several articles and reports.

He lives in Dubai since 2008 with his wife Merlene and his two daughters, Clara and Emma.
