The Competence Center of Public Administration, Healthcare and Non-Profit of the LUISS Business School has been awarded a funding for two European projects under the Erasmus + program Key Action 2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices: Strategic partnerships for Vocational Education and Training – Development of Innovation.

The project “AuToMa – Automation, Technology Transfer and Managerial Practices for the Growth of SMEs, Better Employability and Promotion of Entrepreneurship” (EU id: 2016-1-IT01-KA202-005599), presented and coordinated by the LUISS Business School, involves 5 European countries (Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland and Bulgaria), and has been granted €364,883. AuToMa aims to design and develop a common European website for training of entrepreneurs and employees in SMEs to promote adoption and use of industrial automation instruments, as well as development and management of innovation and technology transfer.

The project “GreenTour – Green Tourism Education: an lnnovative Way to Develop Rural Areas” (EU id: 20161-HU01-KA202-022999) involves 4 European countries (Italy, Hungary, Portugal and Bulgaria), and has been granted €259,867. GreenTour aims to study innovative methods and sustainable management approaches in order to spread good practices among public and private organisations rendering tourism, hospitality and related services. Among other practices appropriate tourism marketing strategies and policies will be promoted.

This is great news for both LUISS Business School and Italy, since it shows the ability to promote and develop project proposals acknowledged on the European level, as well as to be leaders in partnerships involving universities and companies from different European countries.
