Objectives

The International Week in Dubai and Made in Italy: Managing Luxury and Heritage Brands provides an overview of the Made in Italy industries focusing on some relevant topics for sectors such as: furniture, fashion, luxury, etc. Students will attend lectures held by top industry professionals and visit relevant venues and companies operating in the field. The programme is open to students who want to get in touch with the excellence of Made in Italy Industries for the first time. By attending this program, students will:

  • Analyze Market-Specific Business Models Across Industries
  • Evaluate Brand Positioning and Consumer Appeal in the Middle East Context
  • Develop Insights into Distribution and Retail Strategies for the Middle East

Target Audience

The program is intended for graduates (or soon to be graduates), from all disciplines, interested in exploring AI topics through case studies, company visits, and interactions with industry leaders.

Curriculum

The International Week is designed to seamlessly intertwine frontal lessons, guest lectures, company and cultural visits, and interactive activities, offering participants an exciting and immersive learning experience.

The key topics will be:

  • Dubai and GCC history, key players, major franchisees, cultural elements, new trends, and future development. 
  • Business models in the Food & Beverage industry; peculiarities of the Middle East market, distribution, retail, and brand strategies.
  • Business models in the fashion industry; marketing, distribution, and retail dynamics in the Middle East with a guest lecture focusing on key brands.
  • Business models in the automotive and yacht industry; evolution and peculiarities 

Attendance

Tuition and Funding

For Luiss Business School and Luiss Guido Carli students

Tuition Fee: €450
Tuition includes course materials and access to Luiss Business School facilities.

For all other students

Tuition Fee: €1000

Tuition includes course materials and access to Luiss Business School facilities.

The tuition fee is payable online.

Fill in the Application Form (attivare link al CRM) to enroll in the International Week. The following documents will be requested: 

  • copy of degree certificate or self declaration
  • curriculum vitae
  • copy of passport or ID document

ECTS and Certificate of Participation

Participants will earn 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) upon completing the International Week. A Certificate of Participation will be issued to those attending at least 80% of the program’s activities.
