Matteo Caroli was born in Milan in 1963; He graduated in Economic& business at Luiss Guido Carli in 1987 and specialized in Management at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, Boston. Since 2001 he is professor of International Business Management at the Faculty of Economics at Luiss Guido Carli. From 2007 to 2011 has been deputy Director of the Department of Business and Management at Luiss University
Since 2020, he is Associate Dean for internationalization and since 2021, is the head of the Business Unit “Applied research and observatories” at the Luiss Business School. From 2017 to 2019 he has been associate dean for executive education at Luiss Business School
His fields of research are in the area of business management, specifically focusing on sustainability management, circular business modelling, competitive strategies and internationalization.
He has been member of the board of private companies as well as public organization.
He has been Speaker at many national and international conferences.
