Paolo Bonolis has headed the Banking and Finance Law Department of CMS Adonnino Ascoli Cavasola Scamoni Law and Tax Firm since 2005. He coordinates a team of more than 25 people. He is a member of the Firm’s Executive Board and Core Team of CMS Banking & Finance Group, a network of leading law and tax firms with more than 5,000 professionals worldwide.

He regularly advises some of the leading Italian and foreign banks and financial institutions on complex banking and finance transactions and in the areas of investment and financial services, FinTech and private equity. His clients include Intesa Sanpaolo, Unicredit, Commerzbank, Société Générale, Aareal Bank AG, BNP BNL, Natixis, HSBC, Monte Paschi di Siena, Barclays Bank, Bank of America, Banca Fideuram, Wells Fargo, Lloyds Bank, Deutsche Bank, ING, National Australian Bank, Columna Holding, Global Solar Fund, Binance.Prior to joining the Firm, Paolo worked as in-house counsel for the Luxembourg branch of a Swiss Bank and Banca Fideuram. Paolo also has long-standing professional relationships with CONSOB and the Bank of Italy due to his constant work in the banking and investment services sector.
