I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance and Economics at LUISS Guido Carli. Previously, I was a PhD student in Economics at the University of Bonn. In my research, I use empirical and theoretical methods to investigate insurers’ role in financial markets. More specifically, I study the drivers of insurance companies’ investment behavior, their interactions with other financial institutions, and how shocks to insurance markets are transmitted to other parts of the financial system. Moreover, I am interested in the impact of climate risks on asset prices and institutional investors.
