Doruk Cetemen is an Associate Professor of Economics and a Research Affiliate at the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF). His research lies in economic theory, with a focus on dynamic contracting, game theory, and information economics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester and his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. He is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant (2024) for the project “Dynamic Markets with Information Asymmetries.” His work has appeared in leading journals, including the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Finance, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, and Theoretical Economics—where it received the Best Paper Prize from the Econometric Society. He currently serves as an Associate Editor at the European Economic Review.
