Dr. Lucia Pierini is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. Between 2018 and 2022 she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher (Lecturer) of Accounting at China Europe International Business School.

Dr. Pierini received her Ph.D. at Luiss University in Management, concentration Accounting. She was Visiting Research Student at London School of Economics, Department of Accounting, in 2018, and Visiting Scholar PhD level at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Department of Accounting, in 2015. Dr. Pierini holds a Double Degree in Corporate Management from Fudan School of Management and Luiss University.

Dr. Pierini’s primary research interests lie in the area of Financial Reporting, Corporate Disclosure, Intangibles Assets, Merger & Acquisition and Family Business.

Before joining academy, she worked at Deloitte & Touche as analyst for the line Finance and Risk, and at BVLGARI at the Planning and Control Department. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Auditor.
