Michela Altieri is an Assistant Professor of Finance. She was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the SAFE-House of Finance in Frankfurt, in 2016/2017, and Assistant Professor of Finance at the Vrije University of Amsterdam until 2020. Her research interests are Corporate Finance, Empirical Banking, Fixed Income Markets, and Sustainable Finance. Her research focuses on the study of bond markets, with a focus on the interactions with the organizational structure of the firm, and its impact on investors’ wealth. She is also interested in the bank regulation framework, and its intersection with the carbon emissions policies.
