 Objectives

The aim of the two-year EU project Digitalisation is the development of a freely accessible self-learning tool for the CEOs, managers and employees of European SMEs in the business services sector. With the help of this self-learning tool which can be accessed online, European SMEs will be able to implement step by step of an accurate digitalisation strategy. The digital transformation of the economy gives rise to new staffing challenges. There is a need for decision makers and employees with a fundamental understanding of the potential of digital applications and the ability to moderate a process of change within their organisations. The project Digitalisation makes a practical contribution through the development of a self-learning tool for these challenges that can be accessed online and used directly at the workplace.

Materials for analysis, learning and planning are made available for the digitalisation of corporate processes. These materials will support the learner directly at their workplace (work-based learning approach) to implement strategically relevant corporate development topics, such as change management and risk management in the context of digitalisation. With the help of efficient advanced training offers, SMEs will be able to increase their knowledge of digital technologies and work out potential practical applications. For individual learners, the self-learning tool presents the opportunity for them to strengthen or form their own skills in an area of activity that is extremely relevant for the employment market.
