Francesco Cerri, Adjunct Faculty Member at Luiss Business School, is a Partner at KPMG Advisory Spa and working in financial consulting services for over twenty years, coordinating and leading risk management, accounting and regulatory projects at the main Italian financial institutions. He works in the Risk & Regulatory Line of Service as a specialist in risk management and in the implementation of risk management and accounting systems, in accordance with Basel and IFRS regulations, with reference to counterparty and credit risk, financial risks, ALM & liquidity and accounting & regulatory loss models. 

 After graduating in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli in 2000 and specializing in Banking at La Sapienza University in 2001, he is teaching at Luiss since 2005, since 2011 he has a contract professor of the course “Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries” at the same university and since 2016 he is Adjunct Professor at Luiss Business School. From 2011 to 2017 he was the editor of the “Risk & Compliance” column of the specialized magazine “Banche e Banchieri”. He is a panel speaker at various conferences on financial and/or risk management issues (e.g. at ABI, IlSole24Ore, KPMG Academy, etc.). 

 Recently he has also dealt with the digital transformation, through data analysis and AI applications, of some credit processes mainly attributable to the digital and energy transition driven by subsidized funds (PNRR and/or national) and managed by financial intermediaries. He is responsible for the commercial relationship of important banking groups in central and southern Italy and currently leads the Line of Service Risk & Regulatory Advisory of the Rome office.
